For the second consecutive game, Dyani Calderon scored on a penalty kick to give her team the 1-0 victory over College of DuPage on Oct. 6.

It was a near repeat of the Cyclones' win over Prairie State two days earlier – a pk that became the lone goal. Both teams kept a tight hold on the net with keeper Ximena Delgado making five saves in the shutout. With five minutes left in the game, Calderon earned a penalty kick, soaring it past DuPage to get her team the win. The Cyclones had nine shots on goal this game compared to the Chaparrals' five.
