For the last few years, the College of Lake County Lancers have been a dominating force in the Skyway Conference. The Cyclones held their own and came out even in this matchup, 2-2.

Head Coach Javier Roman said the Cyclones should have won this game; other than the Lancers making two nice goals, Moraine Valley had more possession, control and finesse.

Karina De La Torre scored first for the Cyclones but it was countered by the Lancers. Natalia Ochab scored the second goal, which Lake County answered again. Moraine Valley hit the crossbar on some attempts to get ahead, but the Lancers keeper made enough saves to keep it deadlocked at the end.
