The Cyclones showed heart and passion in their narrow 1-0 victory over the visiting College of DuPage Chaparrals.

Although the Chaparrals had more possession of the ball, the Cyclones demonstrated more control in spurts. Otherwise, these two teams were evenly matched. The Cyclones pressed enough to win the ball, and Reagan Cameron reacted the quickest with an assist from Adriana Moreno to put her team up 1-0. Cynthia Nunez was on the ball constantly in one of her best games of the year, and two players with slight injuries continued working to fight for this win at home.
