The No. 15 nationally ranked Cyclones have their work cut out for them, but officially started their season on a strong foot, shutting out Oakton Community College 6-0.

Last season, the Owls caused some trouble nearly defeating the Cyclones. This time around, it was nothing but goals for Moraine Valley. Iris Cruz, Anna Kois, Jenifer Latoza, Xochiquetzal Torres and Allison Schaar (2) each scored. Jocelyn Estrada had a clean sheet in goal in her Cyclone debut.
