The Cyclones continued their dominance with a 78-62 victory over Elgin Community College, who came into this game with a 13-4 record.

Moraine Valley jumped to a 10-2 lead early and held a double-digit lead for most of the first half. The lead swelled to 14, but Elgin grabbed a three-point lead in the second quarter. However, a 21-7 run led by three Julia Ruzevich three-pointers gave her team a 38-29 lead at the half. The Cyclones would not relinquish the lead again and finished with the 16-point victory. Julia Ruzevich led with 25 points and five steals. Ashley Hunter, playing point with an injury to Hennessey Handy, added 22 points and four assists. Kate Ruzevich just missed a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Elizabeth Coffey had a season-high 22 rebounds and five blocks while banking six points.
