The Cyclones dropped one to Hudson Valley Community College (New York) in their second game of spring training.

After being unable to score in their first game earlier today, the Cyclones got one on the board in their 7-1 loss to the Vikings. Stephanie Lohman (1-for-3) singled to center field and reached second on a wild pitch before Ruby Amigon (2-for-3) singled to right to drive her home.

Moraine Valley had five hits this game; Rachel Minnich and Jolene Anderson each had singles while Minnich added a stolen base. Cassidy Ostema was on the mound, striking out two and walking two.
