It was a mixed bag of action against the Triton College Trojans, taking a full game before the Cyclones found their offense.

The first game saw the Cyclones stunted at the plate while the Trojans earned two runs each inning. The Cyclones got on base from walks and a dropped third strike in this 8-0 loss.

Moraine Valley got their bearings in the second game, scoring three runs early to lead thanks to a double from Emily Manso and Emily Madrigal. Their final run of the game came in the fifth inning when Arianna Andersen doubled and Nicole Wagner hit a long foul ball for Andersen to tag up and score. The Trojans, meanwhile, had a big second inning with a string of hits and Cyclone errors to tally five runs. They continued that momentum in the fourth and fifth innings, dealing the Cyclones a 12-4 loss.
