Facing a hitting powerhouse is never easy, and the Cyclones had that challenge when they met Prairie State College for the second time this season. Even through their efforts, they dropped both games in the doubleheader.

The Cyclones were able to tally nine hits in the 8-3 loss. Madi Davis (1-for-3, double), Darcee Nichols (2-for-3, double) and Morgan Moran (1-for-3) each scored a run. Mariah Martinez took the loss but struck out eight in the effort.

The second game saw the offense shut down as Moraine Valley fell 13-0. Donna Booe had two hits, but only Jessica Coyle, Samantha Stahl and Morgan Kaminsky got the ball in play.
