On a windy day, the Cyclones were unable to keep the win at home from Oakton Community College.

The two teams battled from the start, but it wasn't until the 26th minute that the Owls had a breakaway to score first. The Cyclones fought back, taking control and hitting the post several times in attempts to get the ball in the net. Finally, with 10 minutes left in the first half, a long pass to Kostandino Latka helped Moraine Valley even the score.

Keeper Rylan Decker came up with several big saves this game, but the Owls slipped past the defense and slid one in the corner 10 minutes into the second half to go ahead 2-1. The Cyclones had a few fouls close to their net but just couldn't get the ball in for another goal, ultimately losing.
