The Cyclones bounced back with a 6-2 victory over the McHenry County College Scots.

It's been a week since the Cyclones played their narrow heartbreaking game with the national champs, Prairie State, but they put all the effort on the field for this victory. Right out of the gate, they took control, and Jesus Gael Hernandez was able to notch the first goal in seven minutes with an assist from Yamir Gallegos. Kostandino Latka scored the second goal late in the first half, but added another one after halftime.

Meanwhile, the Moraine Valley defense kept the Scots at bay, holding them scoreless until 10 minutes into the second half. By that point, the Cyclones were up 4-1, with the other goal coming from Yael Diaz. Gallegos and Pedro Guzman each sliced the ball past the keeper to go up 6-1 before the Scots netted their final goal. Gallegos and Diaz also each had two assists in this win.
