The Cyclones are still working through the kinks but were able to get on the board in their matchup with Waubonsee Community College.

Although Moraine Valley took the 4-2 loss, they had some promising moments. The Chiefs scored early and were up 3-0 in the second half before Yamir Gallegos scored the first goal of the season on a pass from Yael Diaz. He added the second goal two minutes later with an assist from Pedro Guzman. Waubonsee scored their final goal a few minutes later, but not without some pushback from the Cyclones defense.
