A young Cyclones squad opened their season against Kankakee Community College.
Moraine Valley made several attempts at the net, but just couldn't get one past the keeper in their first official game of the season. The Cavaliers scored 10 minutes before halftime and that was it, so the Cyclone defense was doing their job and continued so into the second half. Ultimately, the Cyclones fell 1-0.
