Cyclones shut out Eagles

Cyclones shut out Eagles

The Cyclones capped off their season with a big 6-0 domination of Illinois Valley Community College at home.

During a windy day when the ball carried, the Cyclones were able to control possession and score three times in each half and shut out the Eagles. Angel Santillan, Pedro Guzman, Kostandino Latka and Anthony Quintana each scored once while Braiden Sheehan netted two. Goalkeepers Eduardo Sanchez and Tyler Padilla combined for the shutout win.

Because of the new seeding format, the Cyclones were unable to qualify for playoffs despite going 5-1-1 in the last seven games with a 33-9 goal for/goals against ratio.
