Whenever the Cyclones face Morton College, they know it's going to be a good game. Their matchup was one of their best of the year, ending in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss.

The Cyclones have a talented roster that narrowly lost only three games this season. The Panthers are ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division II, so this was no easy battle. Morton scored early in the first half but the Cyclones stopped their offense at every turn after that. Goalkeeper Eduardo Sanchez made several big saves, collecting six in this game. The Cyclones had a few chances to score, including an open goal with 10 minutes left and a free kick that hit the post.

The Cyclones will face another nationally ranked team – Prairie State College – on Sept. 27.
