The Cyclones were able to hold off rival Waubonsee Community College for some time but couldn't stop the momentum in a 5-2 loss at home.

For nearly 20 minutes, the Cyclones were able to hold off the Chiefs before two successive goals. It wasn't until after halftime that Moraine Valley got on board thanks to a penalty kick from Fernando Barragan. He scored the other Cyclone goal off an assist from Colin Kroll. However, the Chiefs' offense continued to attack and the Cyclones were kept off balance.
