Narrow loss at home

In a one-off at home with Harper College, the Cyclones narrowly lost 3-2.

The Hawks started the scoring in the first inning before the Cyclones got on the board in the third. After Niko Mastoras (1-for-3) got on base from a walk and Jack Hoh (3-for-3, RBI) singled, both advanced from a ground out by Ethan Lopez. Moraine Valley got on the board after the Hawks pitcher balked to make the score 2-1.

The Cyclones held the Hawks until the sixth inning when they scored their final run with two outs. Moraine Valley scored their last run in the seventh inning after Mastoras singled and Hoh doubled him across the plate. However, they were stunted after that and were dealt the loss.
