The Cyclones needed a win against McHenry County College to keep their playoff hopes alive after falling to Morton College. However, it wasn't meant to be.

Both teams were scoreless until the bottom of the fourth when the Scots ran three across the plate. They ultimately racked up 12 hits to the Cyclones' three. Only Jack Hoh, Maxwell Hensler and Arnoldo Velazquez were able to get hits in this game. Even in the 8-0 loss, pitcher Ben Cash threw seven strikeouts and only allowed three earned runs.
