In their one game with Kankakee Community College, the Cyclones fell 12-5.

It wasn't until the eighth inning when the Cyclones earned all their runs. William Miller and Maxwell Hensler each walked before Gilberto Hernandez singled to load the bases. Ben Cash was walked to bring home their first run. Then Arnoldo Velazquez (2-for-3) was walked, bringing home another run. Christian Cardenas grounded into a double play, but was able to bring home another run. Jake Lisk hit a hard grounded that caused a fielding error to score Cash, and Jack Hoh (2-for-5) hit an RBI single to round out the inning. Some walks, errors and solid hits from the Cavaliers, allowed them to rack up the runs.
