In another single game with the Triton College Trojans, the Cyclones stayed in it until later innings but ultimately fell 13-4.

Yashion Boswell (2-for-5) got his team on the board with a solo homerun in the first inning to tie the score. The Cyclones then notched three runs in the third inning thanks to RBIs from Maxwell Hensler and Arnoldo Velazquez (2-for-4). The game was tied at four going into the seventh inning when the Trojans tallied six runs and tacked on three more in the final two innings.

Nate Pacetti took the mound for the Cyclones, surrendering three runs on five hits over four innings and striking out one.
