The Cyclones dropped two games in their latest matchup with Rock Valley College.

In the first game, the Cyclones were in it until the very end in a battle of the pitchers. Moraine Valley got on the board first thanks to a solo homerun from Jack Hoh in the first inning. They held the lead until the fourth inning when the Golden Eagles countered with their own long ball, pushing the game into extra innings. Rock Valley took the lead for good in the eighth inning on a two-run single, dealing the Cyclones the 3-1 loss.

Daniel Rosado kept the Golden Eagles in check, going six innings and allowing one run on four hits while striking out 10. Dane McDonald threw two innings in relief.

The nightcap saw a stunted Cyclone offense in the 9-0 loss. William Miller, Jake Lisk, Jake Cummins and Yashion Boswell each collected one hit in the effort. Augustin Velazquez took the mound, surrendering four runs on four hits over five innings and striking out five.
