Rough outing against Wolves

In their official opening day game, the Cyclones dropped a close one to Joliet Junior College, falling 9-6.

The bats were slow to move in this game, as the Cyclones collected 14 strikeouts. It took until the top of the ninth inning for them to score five runs in an attempted comeback, but it wasn't enough. Maxwell Hensler, Peter Mitchell and Arnoldo Velazquez each had two hits in this game. Nate Pacetti took the mound for the Cyclones.
