Three-game skid

Three-game skid

An altered lineup and continued cold offense couldn't contain the Joliet Junior College Wolves on a windy day in the Cyclones' 13-2 loss.

Moraine Valley scored early on a two-run hit from Brenden Butler. But that's where it ended. Only Thomas Moran and Joseph Martin could muster additional hits in this outing. Once the Cyclones were down after the first inning, they couldn't bounce back. An eight-run sixth inning was the biggest culprit in this loss, however. Samuel Marquez took the loss, allowing three hits and five runs over two innings while striking out two.
