Moraine Valley Community College

Maura Vizza joined Moraine Valley’s Marketing and Communications (formerly College and Community Relations) staff in March 2008 as the public relations generalist. Prior to coming to Moraine Valley, she worked as a newspaper reporter, freelancer as well as a rowing coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Northwestern University and North Park University.

Vizza earned an associate degree from Moraine Valley, where she played softball, and a bachelor’s and master's degree from Drake University, where she lettered on the Division I rowing team.
