Moraine Valley Community College

Marie Harrell became the athletic student success specialist in July 2023. Prior to this position, she worked in the Moraine Valley Job Resource Center as the internship manager for 13 years. She started her higher education career at Illinois State University as assistant director/career advisor and was assigned to work with student-athletes.

Harrell was a basketball player growing up and raised two college athletes. She graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and from Roosevelt University with a Master of Management degree in higher education.
