Becoming a Cyclone

Moraine Valley Community College is a two-year institution dedicated to educating the whole person in a learning-centered environment and recognizing our responsibilities to one another, to our community and to the world we share. Moraine Valley Athletics supports the mission of the college while challenging its student-athletes to reach their physical, intellectual and social potential through participation in intercollegiate sports.

The Cyclones and their dedicated coaching staff and administrators support and seek top-level recruits to become positive contributing members of our community.

Many athletes receive scholarships or financial aid to compete and attend school.

Moraine Valley is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC), the latter which includes other area community colleges (Morton College, Oakton Community College, Prairie State College, McHenry County College, Elgin Community College, College of Lake County, Waubonsee Community College).

If you are interested in becoming a Cyclone, the information below will guide you through the process. We hope to see you on our campus soon! Go Cyclones!
