A night of honor and victory

A night of honor and victory

The Cyclones won their latest home game over Joliet Junior College and celebrated an honor given to Head Coach Delwyn Jones.

Right from tipoff, the Cyclones took control of the game, holding a consistent lead from the first quarter to the 85-68 victory. Although the Wolves attempted to claw back in the fourth quarter, the Cyclones were still able to outscore them 25-20, bolstered by a drive and two free throws from Aubree Schultz in the final 30 seconds.

Reagan Cameron continued to lead the scoring with 28 points. Schultz added 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Aden Edebali contributed 11 points. Jayla Lamb grabbed 11 rebounds while Autumn Jones had nine.

The night also was highlighted by Coach Jones being recognized for his induction in the 2023 Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his 23 years of accomplishments leading the Cyclones program.
