A 50-point rout of the Panthers

The Cyclones made a statement in their home opener, taking a 50-point victory over Olive-Harvey College.

Moraine Valley jumped out early and never looked back, always in control of the ball. They were up 16-8 after the first quarter and doubled that by halftime. A 20-point third quarter really gave the Cyclones the upper hand and ultimate 83-33 win. Kirsten Kamholz led with 20 points, nine steals and five assists. Erin Greenfield chipped in 18 points while Chelsea Cross banked 11 and Lexi Langellier netted 10. Nicole Poole led in rebounds with 11.
