Finding momentum

Finding momentum

So far this season, the Cyclones have struggled to find their momentum. But not in their latest 73-55 win over Kishwaukee College.

Starting this matchup, the Cyclones were firing on all cylinders, jumping to a 28-11 first quarter lead. They maintained that flow and offensive rhythm throughout the rest of the game, going up 46-21 at halftime, which helped solidify the victory.

Chelsea Cross broke out of her early season slump to lead in scoring with 15 points, going 2-for-2 from the three-point line. Nicole Poole, Marty Reeves and Natalia Trejo each chipped in 10 points. Poole also added nine rebounds and five blocks. Kirsten Kamholz turned in another complete game with nine points, 12 rebounds, six assists and nine steals.
