Last second heroics for the win

The Cyclones (14-3) narrowly held on to their perfect conference record with an action-packed matchup against McHenry County College (7-8). Moraine Valley won 76-75 in the final seconds of the game thanks to the combined efforts of Kobe Adams and Anthony Taylor.

This was a battle between two talented squads that kept the scoring close throughout the entire game. Moraine Valley trailed by 10 at the start but chipped away at the Scots. By halftime, the Cyclones were only up 43-42. The second half saw the Cyclones down by as much as eight points with five minutes to go, but again they clawed back. In the final eight seconds, Adams sunk two free throws to give his team the one-point edge before Taylor blocked a key Scots' shot at the buzzer to hold onto the coveted victory.
