Six straight

The Cyclones added their sixth straight win after taking one from another conference rival, Oakton Community College. They won 115-84.

Right out of the gate, the Cyclones jumped to a 10-point lead and held on. Although the Owls clawed back to get within six, the Cyclones put on the man-to-man pressure to hold off any big gains and lead 57-43 at the half. Dontia Johnson and Zion Fortune had 14 and 13 points, respectively, at halftime. The Cyclones continued to pull away in the second half for the victory.

Jalen Hughes led the offense with 25 points followed closely by Johnson (22). Five other players collected double-digit points: Jalen Levy (15), Ryan Saunders (15), Fortune (15), Trevon Jones (11) and Christopher Harrison (10).
