Cyclones turn up offense in loss to Tritons

The Cyclones had another two-game matchup with Iowa Central Community College, dropping both to the nationally ranked Tritons.

GAME 1
It was another battle against a high-powered offense that scored nine runs in the first two innings, including two homeruns. William Miller scored the team's lone run in the bottom of the fifth as the Cyclones went on to lose 11-1. Robert Warchol took the loss, allowing two hits and three runs over one inning, striking out one.

GAME 2
The Cyclones found more offense in the final game. After the Tritons homered in the top of the first, Moraine Valley batted in two of their own to take a brief lead. Between the third and seventh innings, the Tritons continued knocking in runs while the Cyclones added three more for the 14-5 loss.

Miller (1-for-2, 2B, 2 RBIs), Robert Otero (2-for-4, 2B, RBI), Colin Bulger (1-for-3, RBI) and Bullock (2-for-4, 1 run, 2 stolen bases) had good outings at the plate. Ryan McEvoy started the game, going three innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out one. Jack Riemen, Brandon Martinez and Cole Hermanson each contributed in relief.
