Strong running on hilly course

Two running Cyclones gutted out the rolling course at the Ranger Open at the University of Wisconsin (UW)-Parkside, Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha.

Natalia Wrobel ran well, finishing in 20th place in 26:26. "It was a challenging course, but she ran controlled and stayed strong the whole way through," said Head Coach Dimitri Dimizas. "She ran the fastest time on that course in our school's history."

Jasmeene Guido made her season debut, crossing the line in 41st place in 34:51. "Although she's still not fully healthy, she was able to tough it out and get a race under her belt," Dimizas said.

The Bradley Pink Classic is in two weeks and will be the last regular season race. It's also the Cyclones' last chance to run a fast 6K time before racing the 5K distance in the postseason.
