The Cyclones started their run for the NJCAA Region IV championship with a matchup with Black Hawk College. And it was a quick victory.
In their opening set, the Cyclones dominated the Braves 25-6 and continued those winning ways in the final two sets – 25-10, 25-17.
Takiyah Clark had eight kills and two blocks. Ava Porada collected 30 assists while Kaila Butvilas finished with six kills and five aces.
The Cyclones will continue playing in the next round tonight against Sauk Valley Community College.
