You win some, you lose some. After a 3-0 shutout the other night, Moraine Valley was on the other end of the victory, falling to the visiting McHenry County College Scots.
The Cyclones narrowly lost the first set, hanging in there until the bitter 25-23 loss. After that, they lost momentum, losing 25-12, 25-11. Marriel McCaskill led the team in digs with 11 followed closely behind by Brianna Knezz (9), Nicole Ramirez (9) and Amelia Bresnahan (8). Ramirez added 14 assists and eight kills while Knezz led with nine kills.
