Maintaining a clean slate in conference play, the Cyclones defeated Elgin Community College in three: 25-17, 25-15, 25-20.
Starters and bench players each had a chance to contribute in this match. Amanda Bulow and Brianna Knezz each finished with six kills. Noelle Knezz amassed seven kills and seven aces while Elaina Evers added five kills and four aces. The Cyclones have one more conference match on Oct. 9 against rival Waubonsee Community College to determine the Skyway championship.
