In their opening match at the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship, the No. 13 seed Cyclones lost to No. 4 seed South Mountain Community College in four: 20-25, 23-25, 26-24, 14-25.
Under pressure of being on the big stage, the Cyclones were off and had a few plays not go their way. They also ran out of steam against the energetic Cougars. Abbi Fletcher led the way again with 16 kills. Karly Andersen added six kills and four blocks, while Elizabeth Coffey tallied seven kills and four blocks. Taylor Bulow had 33 assists in the effort.
