Going into this game with Elgin Community College, the Cyclones were rolling on a three-game win streak. A rough second half ended it as they fell 2-1.
The Cyclones were on in the first half with Adriana Moreno scoring on a pass from Sarah Hughes. The Spartans tied the game as they went into halftime. In the middle of the second half, the Spartans scored again to go ahead 2-1. Despite a number of chances to equalize and win, the Cyclones fell just short.
