It took some extra time, but the Cyclones came out ahead in an OT matchup with Malcom X College, 94-89.
Both teams matched each other bucket-for-bucket most of the game, even though the Cyclones' field goal percentage was 52.9 to the Hawks' 38.2. With the score tied at 82 by the final buzzer, the Cyclones had just enough minutes in overtime to gain the lead.
Reagan Cameron broke out this game with 37 points while Janiyah Hilliard added 24 points and 12 rebounds. Aubree Schultz added 13 points, and Mary Chronopoulou scored 12 in this victory.
