Cyclones push past Bulldogs

The Cyclones kept their win streak alive after dominating South Suburban College in a 66-48 victory. This game also pushed the team over .500.

Finally having found their rhythm, the Cyclones continued to show consistency on the court, scoring nearly the same amount in three quarters. Although the first quarter saw a slower start for the Cyclones, they were still able to hold a 19-12 lead. The Bulldogs continued to fight back, but after the Cyclones held them to just 10 points in the second quarter and nine points in the third while scoring 29 points, they were able to coast to the finish with a fourth straight win.

Katchie Savic, Maggie Manthey and Kirsten Kamholz each scored 10 points while Savic added nine assists and four steals. Bashirah Muhammad led under the basket with seven rebounds.
