This was a rough outing for the Cyclones as they fell 60-39 to Malcolm X College in the low-scoring affair.
The Cyclones were down a couple of players due to injury, including leading scorer and point guard Katchie Savic and starting small forward Maggie Manthey. Although Moraine Valley started out 6-0, it was short lived. Bashirah Muhammad took over the reins as point guard, but picked up three quick fouls in the first quarter. Other players were out of position as a result and the Cyclones amassed 33 turnovers and struggled to score.
