Comfortable at home

The Cyclones are comfortable at home, evidenced by their 28th consecutive home victory. They went 81-60 over the visiting College of Lake County Lancers.

Although the Lancers jumped to an 11-2 lead, once Moraine Valley settled in, they closed the gap and were only down by three. However, it was the 20-6 onslaught in the second quarter that swung the game in the Cyclones' control as they led 37-26 at the half. The Cyclones continued their offensive surge, building a 26-point lead before the end.

Chelsea Cross led five players in double digits with 15 points in a balanced attack. Kirsten Kamholz (11 rebounds) and Kaeli Ford each added 14 buckets. Marty Reeves (nine rebound) and Natalia Trejo chipped in 10 each. Nicole Poole had a team high 13 rebounds while Trejo had a team high 10 assists.
