The only way these Cyclones know how to play ball is by making a statement. They closed out the regular season with a 120-72 victory over conference rival Waubonsee Community College at home.

This marks the third most points in a game in Moraine Valley history as they sealed their undefeated conference record (14-0) and finished the regular season at 29-1.

The Cyclones and Chiefs exchanged baskets early on with both shooting well in the first quarter. However, it was a 5-0 Cyclone run that closed out the first quarter (21-14) and helped them slowly increase the spread. A third quarter 38-15 spurt put the game away for good.

Hennessey Handy led the way with 24 points, going 9-for-12 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. Julia Ruzevich had 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists while her twin, Kate, put up her first triple-double of the season (18 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists). Ashley Hunter chipped in 17 points while Erin Greenfield added 14 points and six rebounds.
