Cyclones down Scots

The nationally ranked Cyclones were able to maintain their dominance despite a tight first half, taking a 77-63 victory from the visiting McHenry County College Scots.

The Cyclones haven't had many close games, however, they held only a two-point lead at halftime. A 10-point second quarter slump didn't help, but Moraine Valley was able to regain momentum in the final two quarters to solidify their 22nd win. Hennessey Handy led the offense with 25 points. Ashley Hunter added 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals. Erin Greenfield banked 10 and grabbed eight boards while Kate Ruzevich led with 10 rebounds.
