When Wright College came to the Cyclone Center, they had won nine of their last 10 games. And then they faced the Cyclones, who sealed a 10th straight victory and fourth scoring more than 100 points.
Moraine Valley had the advantage of a quick double-digit lead early in the game. By chance they scored 28 points in each of the first three quarters, leading 84-39 by the fourth quarter. The offense continued to surge, coasting to the 107-55 victory.
Ashley Hunter led with 28 points, going 4-for-7 from the three-point line. Hennessey Handy added 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in only 26 minutes of play, just missing her second triple-double of the season. Destiny Thames (11 points, 11 rebounds) and Julia Ruzevich (14 points, 10 rebounds) each had a double-double.
