Another one bites the dust

With each new game, the Cyclones demonstrate their prowess against another nationally ranked team. They took an 85-66 victory over Joliet Junior College.

The Cyclones came in ready to face this challenge in the Wolves—a team ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA Division III. They charged into this game with an early lead and held on. By halftime, the Cyclones were up 37-28, thanks to their strong scoring and post players. Going up by as much as 27 points, they settled for the 19-point spread at the end. In her highest scoring total on the season, Julia Ruzevich led with 31 points along with 18 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks. Hennessey Handy chipped in 19 points with five assists. Kate Ruzevich hauled in 17 rebounds and scored nine.
