Loth and Walsh produce at the plate

Estelle Loth and Marissa Walsh were the producers at the plate in the Cyclones' doubleheader loss to Kishwaukee College.

GAME ONE
Although the Cyclones scored first, they couldn't hold off the Kougars in the 12-4 loss.

In their first at-bats, Brialynn Mica got to first on an error before Annabelle Rush and Brooklynn Sedlak (1-for-2) walked to load the bases. Loth (1-for-2, 2B, 2 RBIs) scored Mica on a sac fly to get the Cyclones on the board, and Walsh (3-for-3, 2B, 2 RBIs) added one more run with an RBI single.

When the Kougars came up in the bottom half of the inning, they scored seven runs on some solid hits, errors and walks to go up 7-2. The next time Moraine Valley crossed home plate was in the fifth inning. With two outs, Sedlak singled and Loth scored her on a double to center field. Walsh then brought Loth home on a double, but that was it for the inning.

GAME TWO
The Cyclones were out-hit in the second game, 15-to-8, in the 11-3 loss.

Once again, the Cyclones scored in their first at-bat before the Kougars took control. Mica (3-for-3) singled before Loth (1-for-3, 2 RBIs) hit an RBI single. In the fifth inning, Mica singled, and Rush (1-for-3) doubled to get on before Loth grounded out but scored one run. Walsh (1-for-3, 2B, RBI) scored the final run on an RBI single.
