Cyclones take fifth at Warrior Invite

Running through the muck and mud, the Cyclones ran to a fifth place finish out of 17 teams at the Warrior Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

The conditions weren't ideal and the team is not at full capacity yet, but the men were able to run fast times with Grant Wright finishing in the top 20 (28:50, 17th). Coming in after him was Carlos Galvan (29:29, 26th), Suhayb Froukh (29:42, 28th), Nate Hackett (31:01, 40th), Nick Marfoe (32:13, 55th) and Chris Santoyo (32:21, 60th).

"I was very pleased with how the men finished. This was the muddiest course we've seen all season, so the times aren't indicative of what they're capable of doing. We had a couple of minor injuries pop up last minute, and we weren't at full strength but did the best with what we had," said Head Coach Dimitri Dimizas. "We now have two weeks until our final regular season race. We'll continue putting in the work and recovering in order to end the month on a high note."
