Even putting their best efforts on the field, the Cyclones couldn't stop a resilient Morton College squad in the Region IV semifinals. Moraine Valley fell 3-1 to the Panthers.
Fernando Barragan earned the lone goal unassisted, getting his team on the board first. However, the Panthers climbed back, scoring twice before halftime and tacking on one more in the second half to knock the Cyclones out of playoff contention.
