On a perfect golfing day yesterday, Cyclones Thomas Rodriguez and James Goich shot some of their best scores of the season to place in the top five finishers.
In their fourth conference match, at Randall Oaks Golf Course, the Cyclones finished where they have done so consistently this season—fourth. Collectively they played one of their best rounds, including Goich and Rodriguez. Goich continued his strong play with a 75, good enough for fifth overall. Rodriguez passed his teammate by one stroke for his best score of the fall, landing in a tie for third place, just three strokes behind first. Both guys are looking solid for upcoming regional preview play. Adding to the team score was Sean McKernan (86), Paul Douglas (87) and Mike Rollberg (90).
