Fouls and missed free throws were the culprit in the Cyclones’ 93-83 loss to nationally ranked Milwaukee Area Technical College in the NJCAA Region IV semifinals.
Facing one of their toughest opponents to date this season, the Cyclones put up a good fight against the No. 3 South Suburban College Bulldogs but came up short in an 81-70 loss.
Although the score was a little too close for comfort, the Cyclones were able to eke out their last victory of 2018, surpassing Malcolm X College 81-75.
After a near miss at winning a conference championship last season, the Cyclone men’s basketball team is looking to remedy that misstep, earn that crown and compete at the Big Dance this year.
